Hawaiian Jewelry & Gift Special!
Beautiful carved wood art of a traditional Hawaiian hula dancer (known as "Auana" in the Hawaiian language).
Hula auana, the modern form of hula dance, is characterized by more fluid, graceful motions — often based on and inspired by their origins in hula kahiko. Beautiful, harmonious island music invariably accompanies hula auana, using guitars, ukulele and other modern instruments.
This wood art was created using exotic hardwoods with
no paint or stain. Each color is a different type of wood. Wood burning
is used for small details.
Please note that each piece of artwork is unique. The shape and
workmanship are exactly as shown here but because of the different
grains and shades in the exotic woods employed to create this piece,
there may be some variation in color.
